These awards are based on criteria such as financial need and academic achievement, and are available to
persons who are enrolled or intend to enroll in specific programs.
These scholarships are made possible by the generous donations of individuals and organizations who have
chosen to provide their support for students through the NRCC Educational Foundation's Endowed
Scholarship Program.
Applications are available only online, for more information you may contact the Foundation Office at
(540) 674-3618.
Scholarships are added to the list above as they are funded and made available to students.
Many donors take advantage of the endowed scholarship program to honor or memorialize family members or
others.
In addition to a set of general criteria for all scholarships, donors may specify additional selection
criteria, such as designating a preferred major or degree program or a geographical location where the
applicant must reside.
The minimum amount to endow a scholarship is $25,000. Beginning January 1, 2025, the minimum amount to endow a scholarship will be $30,000.
This amount may be paid in installments for a period of up to five years.
Funds are invested and the principle remains intact, and the interest is used to award a scholarship
each year.
