Chart of Accounts
Employees initiating expenditure or purchasing documents shall obtain the approval of the functional area manager responsible for the account being charged.
Approval on these documents shall occur before these documents are submitted to either the Business or Human Resources offices. Examples of documents include, but are not limited to,
the following: bid sheets, payments to personnel forms, inter-agency invoices, inter-departmental charge forms, invoices, requests for payment from local funds, travel
vouchers, wage authorization forms, etc.
Functional area managers are persons responsible for the areas listed in the chart of accounts. Please note that accounts are frequently re-assigned from one area to another.
The chart of accounts may not be current in this respect. Please contact the Director of Human Resources and Business Operations to determine who currently is the functional area manager
responsible for any account.
