THE ADVISING CENTER IS OPEN FOR IN-PERSON ADVISING!

Advisors are available at both the Dublin campus and the Christiansburg site for in-person advising, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Advisors are also available for phone or zoom appointments.

NRCC Academic Advisors will assist you with:

  • Determining your math and English placement after testing
  • Scheduling the classes you need in your major
  • Mapping out a plan for your graduation
  • Exploring possible degree and career options
  • Discovering additional resources and opportunities at the college and in the community

Advisors are available to assist you in developing an educational plan to help you achieve your goals, whether it is to continue your education at a transfer college or university, or to prepare you for immediate job entry.

The Advising Staff can help ensure that students make satisfactory progress towards the completion of academic coursework, and other situations pertaining to program completion. Advisors are also available to assist in locating referrals to off campus resources when necessary.
