Qualifications Required:

Relevant professional experience in healthcare, clinical education, academic, or health professions setting.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Current professional licensure as a nurse.

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, faculty, healthcare professionals, and external clinical organizations.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines, priorities, and clinical placement requirements.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office or other productivity software and a willingness to learn the institutional systems.

Ability to maintain and protect sensitive students, faculty, and clinical information.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Additional Considerations:

Experience coordinating clinical education, student placements, internships, practicums, or similar learning activities.

Experience working in a college environment.

Experience with accreditation compliance and/or healthcare regulatory requirements.

Experience with clinical placement systems and affiliation agreements.

Proficiency in interpreting clinical compliance data, such as immunization status.

Knowledge of the regulations governing health professions programs.

Experience composing regulatory and accreditation reports.

Knowledge and/or experience with ACEMAPP and/or HealthStream scheduling software.

Duties:

The Health Professions Clinical Coordination Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring clinical education experiences for students enrolled in health professions programs. This position serves as a primary liaison among students, faculty, clinical/preceptor sites, healthcare organizations, and program leadership to ensure that clinical experiences are appropriately scheduled, educationally meaningful, and consistent with program, institutional, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.

The Clinical Coordination Specialist supports student readiness for clinical placement by coordinating required documentation, health and safety requirements, onboarding, compliance tracking, orientation, and communication with clinical partners. The coordinator also assists with maintaining strong clinical partnerships and identifying opportunities to enhance the quality and effectiveness of students' clinical learning experiences. Duties also include assisting faculty, students, and administration as needed and performing tasks as assigned by the dean.

Salary:

$45,000 - $60,000

Start Date:

November 15, 2026 or sooner if identified.
