Additional Considerations (Additional factors that may be considered include):
Work experience in a higher education setting or counseling or academic coaching.
Work experience assessing the skills, needs, and interests of adult learners.
Teach adult education courses. Responsibilities include academic skills assessment, contextualized lesson planning, and GED/Workforce Readiness classroom instruction; and assisting students in developing career pathways that accelerate the educational and career advancement of the individual.
Responsibilities:
Assist students from the point of inquiry to credential completion.
Help students prepare and study for the GED exam.
Assist students with barriers that may affect GED success/retention.
Ensure that all necessary documents and forms are completed accurately and promptly.
Attend all required department meetings and training sessions.
Utilize technology and other resources to assist with class facilitation.
Work collaboratively with college staff in support of student success.
$22.20 hourly
