Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Fitness Center Guidelines

  • The NRCC Fitness Center is open to current NRCC students and faculty/staff Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
  • Prior to using the Fitness Center students and faculty/staff must complete and submit the online “Fitness Center Assumption Of The Risk” form accessed on this page (Forms) or by accessing the QR Code on the blue flyer attached to the Fitness Center door.
  • Additionally, students and faculty/staff must have a new ID made that designates Fitness Center eligibility -and must have the ID on their person when accessing the Fitness Center.
  • Fitness Center patrons are expected to make an appropriate individual judgement of their current health status and their current ability to safely utilize the Fitness Center and equipment. If patrons have special conditions or situations that might result in health concerns NRCC encourages patrons to seek medical clearance prior to accessing the Fitness Center.
  • Patrons who need assistance accessing/using the Fitness Center equipment and/or developing and utilizing an appropriate weight training program may seek assistance in the Student Activities Office and/or may access the attached “Guidelines for Weight Training” on this page.

Additional Expectations

  • Dress appropriately for exercise (including tennis shoes or similar closed toe shoes for working out).
  • Utilize appropriate exercises for age/size/weight and current health status.
  • Use the disinfectant cleaning wipes to wipe down the equipment after each use.
  • Report any issues, problems, or emergencies of any kind to the Fitness Center staff, the Security Office in Godbey Hall (674-3646), or the Student Activities Office (674-3600, ext. 4358 – Room 121) in Martin Hall.
  • The Fitness Center phone is for emergency use only.
  • Food & drinks (other than water/sports drinks) are not allowed in the Fitness Center.
