New River Community College will be offering two Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) drive-in sessions to help students or perspective students with the application.
The first session will be Saturday, Nov. 7, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in parking lot H on NRCC’s campus in Dublin. The second session will be held Saturday, Nov. 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot outside of NRCC’s Uptown Christiansburg site.
NRCC staff will be present at the events, with physical distancing protocols in place, to help with all things financial aid including creating the FSA ID, submitting the FAFSA and answering financial aid questions. The FAFSA can be completed for the spring 2021 semester or the fall 2021/spring 2022 school year. Free Wi-Fi will be provided but attendees are asked to bring a laptop or mobile device to use and a mask.
