2 Social Science courses include the following: ECO (excluding ECO 120), GEO, PLS, HIS, PSY (excluding PSY 120), or SOC. Virginia Tech may recommend ECO 201-202; students should consult the specific requirements of the specific program at the transfer institution.

 

Notes:

Students should consult the requirements of the specific program at the transfer institution. Only six semester hours of social/behavioral sciences are required for engineering majors who plan to transfer to a baccalaureate degree engineering program that requires 6 or fewer hours in the category, provided that the college/university publishes such requirements in its transfer guide.
