Grant Development
The Office of Planning and Advancement at NRCC is the focal point of development of grant proposals to be submitted to external agencies. All such proposals must be submitted by this office or in cooperation with Planning and Advancement personnel.
Services provided in this area include the following:
- Helping faculty and staff develop concepts for proposals
- Identifying potential funding sources from state and federal agencies and private foundations and corporations.
- Disseminating information about grant opportunities
- Coordinating the development of grant proposals
- Assisting with the writing, editing, and critiquing of proposals
- Assisting in obtaining internal approvals, required signatures, assurances and certifications
- Preparing or assisting in the preparation of the final versions of grant proposals
- Overseeing the submission process
- Assisting in administering funded projects
- Completing reports about grants activity
- Providing other related services.
